Before you start

Use a compatible iPhone and the intended item. Permission labels can vary between iOS versions.

Follow these steps

  1. Read the error in the photo step.
  2. Open iPhone Settings and the app's camera permission if access was denied.
  3. Allow camera access only if you want the photo feature.
  4. Return to the intended check and retry Add photo.
  5. If the camera remains unavailable, choose Check without the extra step and read the manual result.

Keep the recorded method honest

A manual fallback describes your own check without an image. Do not share that receipt as proof a photo was captured.
