Use it on the item that needs it
Set Photo in Check options for a particular item, such as the stove. The ordinary sequence pauses and asks for that photo step.
Your confirmation remains explicit
Take the photo and use I checked this with the photo. If the camera is unavailable, Check without the extra step records a manual check without inventing an image.
Control what stays
The app shrinks photos, removes metadata, and blurs thumbnails outside receipt details by default. Choose one, seven, 30, or 90 days of photo retention.

The app records what you checked. It does not lock doors, switch off appliances, or verify their physical state.
