Before you start

A blur is a display choice, not encryption for a PDF or a substitute for device security.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Settings, Privacy and storage.
  2. Find Blur thumbnails outside receipt details.
  3. Keep it on when you want blurred previews.
  4. Read the intended receipt in Activity when you need its image.
  5. Review photo inclusion separately before preparing a shared PDF.

The recipient sees the file you choose

Thumbnail blur does not redact an image you deliberately include in an exported receipt. Check the PDF choices before sharing.

Use it with your own checklist
