Before you start
Use this when people share one device. An iCloud invitation is the separate route for someone on their own iPhone.
Follow these steps
- Open Settings, Household.
- Choose Add a local person.
- Enter a distinct name and save.
- Tap the intended local person to choose who is recording checks on this iPhone.
- Read the person shown in the completed Activity record.
Labels are not authenticated identities
The selected name is a personal label on the shared device. Do not treat it as proof that a particular person physically performed a check.
Use it with your own checklist
The free checklist gives you one place, unlimited items, and seven days of Activity. Plus is optional for the extra features.
Get the app freeiOS 27 or later. This feature requires Plus.
The app records what you checked. It does not lock doors, switch off appliances, or verify their physical state.
Sources and review notes
App behavior was checked against the public 2.0.0 listing and a read-only review of the app source. This is separate from a fresh physical-device walkthrough.
