Before you start

Determine whether the missing alert was timed or departure-based. Those features have different prerequisites.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Settings, Reminders and read the selected place and routine.
  2. Check that the intended reminder is enabled and Travel mode is off.
  3. Read whether the routine is already checked and therefore quiet.
  4. Check notification permission and Focus. For departures, also check saved location and background location access.
  5. Use Send test notification, then Retry reminder setup if the app reports a setup problem.

Do not use delivery as physical proof

An alert, a successful test, or silence cannot establish whether a door is locked. If setup is still failing, contact support with the visible error.
