Before you start
Check the items yourself first. Photo, NFC, and Apple Home items still require their own guided steps.
Follow these steps
- Choose the intended place and routine on Home.
- Check the items yourself.
- Activate Hold to lock through the standard accessible activation path.
- Read Record this departure? and its explanation.
- Choose Record the displayed item count, or Check items and continue when extra evidence remains; choose Cancel if unintended.
The dialog records a personal check
It cannot control a physical lock. A full receipt still requires all snapshot items, and backgrounding cancels unfinished authorization.
