Before you start

Install and open the app so its actions are available. Check Ways to start for the current access status.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Settings, Ways to start in Is It Locked?.
  2. Use the available Shortcuts link to open Apple's app.
  3. Create a shortcut and find the Is It Locked? action you need.
  4. Choose its place or routine where the action supports that choice.
  5. Run the shortcut and confirm it opens the intended flow without creating a completed check.

An automation is a navigation aid

A Siri phrase, shortcut, or automation does not replace checking the items yourself. Use the native flow for confirmation.

Use it with your own checklist

The free checklist gives you one place, unlimited items, and seven days of Activity. Plus is optional for the extra features.

Get the app free

iOS 27 or later. This feature requires Plus.

The app records what you checked. It does not lock doors, switch off appliances, or verify their physical state.
