Before you start

Check that you selected the intended place and item. Keep tag payloads out of support messages and diagnostics.

Follow these steps

  1. Read the item name and scan error.
  2. Retry with the tag you linked to that item.
  3. If setup is wrong, finish or cancel the check before editing Check options.
  4. Use Replace linked tag when intentionally changing the association.
  5. If scanning is unavailable, choose Check without the extra step for an explicit manual check.

Do not diagnose by exposing the payload

The app stores an opaque token hash. Tell support the visible error and device model, not the tag's raw contents.
