Start with the right items
Use Settings, Routines to customize each list. An overnight trip may need preparation items that a quick errand does not.
Choose how long it shows as checked
The routine's Show as checked for setting applies when its next check completes. It is a display window, not a promise about physical safety.
Suggestions and notifications are different
Suggested days and times can help Home choose a routine. Enable a timed or departure reminder separately if you want an alert.
Use it with your own checklist
The free checklist gives you one place, unlimited items, and seven days of Activity. Plus is optional for the extra features.
Get the app freeiOS 27 or later. This feature requires Plus.
The app records what you checked. It does not lock doors, switch off appliances, or verify their physical state.
Sources and review notes
App behavior was checked against the public 2.0.0 listing and a read-only review of the app source. This is separate from a fresh physical-device walkthrough.
